Overview
Komodo is hot and humid, with days split between boat decks, island hikes, and the water. Lightweight, quick-dry clothing, sun protection, and the right footwear will keep you comfortable from sunrise treks to sunset cruises.

01— What to Pack
Lightweight, breathable layers, multiple swimwear sets, and a light cover-up for the evenings.
Sturdy sandals or trainers for the Padar hike, plus water shoes for rocky shores.
Bring your own mask and fins if you prefer — most operators also provide equipment.
Seasickness tablets, personal medication, and a small first-aid kit.
Camera or GoPro, a power bank, and a dry bag to protect electronics on the boat.
Modest clothing (covered shoulders and knees) for visiting villages and temples.
